Our Mission

The Beechwood Community Church exists primarily to worship Almighty God and to serve Him by serving our community. With the joy of exalting God and through our relationship with His son, Jesus Christ, it is our purpose to evangelize our world, Rocky Mount in sight, the world in mind. We will accomplish our purpose by our love and encouragement of our neighbors: our fellowship and edification of each other as believers: and by equipping all who join us to do the same. This is why we are here.

Our Pastor

Pastor Wayne Smith was ordained in the Wesleyan Church in 1987 and has been our senior pastor since February 1997. He is a graduate of Indiana Wesleyan University. He and his wife Claire were married in 1988. Claire is a Pharmacist and they have two children. Daniel born in 1990 and Tatum born in 1995.



Directions to our Church

* Take the Rocky Mount/Nashville exit off I-95 onto highway # 64 and head east toward Rocky Mount for one mile.
* Take Winstead Ave. exit and turn right/south at the light, onto Winstead Ave.
* Go two miles through three more lights.
* Beechwood Community Church will be on the right, just after Winstead Ave. becomes Beechwood Dr., half a block before the intersection with Bethlehem Rd.
